Vetanco sponsors the 2022 IPVS Congress

The 26th International Pig Veterinary Society Congress (IPVS) is considered the most important scientific event in the global swine industry. It is sponsored by Vetanco, an international veterinary laboratory that has been developing, producing, and trading innovative products for animal production and health for 35 years.

IPVS is one of the most important events for the swine industry. It cannot be any different for Vetanco, as we are a company with an active and significant participation in this market. For us, attending the event is essential, reinforcing our brand and meeting again with our clients,” says Tiago Urbano, Commercial Technical Director of Vetanco Brazil.

The 2022 IPVS will be held from June 21 to 24, in Rio de Janeiro and is organized by the Brazilian Association of Swine Veterinary Specialists (Abraves). The Congress will gather the world’s greatest specialists in animal health, biosecurity, well-being, nutrition and reproduction, creating a perfect environment for the exchange of knowledge and experiences.

“Besides offering an exhibition structure with stands, where the companies can exhibit developments, tendencies, and updates, the IPVS has a highly technical congress that offers and adds plenty of knowledge and updated technical information for the whole sector,” adds Urbano.

On his part, Lucas Piroca, Commercial Manager of Pigs of Vetanco Brazil, referred to Vetanco’s engagement in the 2022 IPVS together with Dr. Bata, who jointly created BV Science.

We will show the new industrial plant for the production of additives that we will have in Chapecó. It will definitely be a time to gather, exchange information, do business and a time for Vetanco to show all its value, both for the Brazilian swine culture and the global swine industry,” highlights Lucas.

BV Science is a joint venture that operates in the American market. It was created in 2016 from the merger between the research, marketing, and technical support departments of Dr. Bata Ltd. in Europe and Asia and Vetanco S.A. in the Americas. Dr. Bata Ltd.’s first steps in Brazil were recently announced in a ceremony held in the land where its first Brazilian factory will be built, next to Vetanco headquarters, in Chapecó/SC.
