Vetanco awarded for support to scientific development

During the last XIII Congress of Porcine Production, held at the Gala Convention and Exhibition Center in Resistencia, Province of Chaco, organized by the Rio Cuarto University, the College of Veterinary Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires, and the National Institute of Agricultural Technology, with the support of the Government of Chaco, Vetanco was awarded with the “Carlos Pijoan” prize for the support to scientific development.

Since 2008, this award to the excellence has been given by the organizing committee of the Porcine Congress in 3 different categories: to the pork producer, to the researcher, and to the company that most contributes to scientific development in swine.

On this occasion, the prize was given to Vetanco, and received by the Commercial Technical Division, leaded by Raúl Brega, Commercial Director of Livestock, Swine and Pets, accompanied in this Congress by María Fernanda Jabif DVM, Nicolás Fermentini DVM MBA; Gustavo Orella DMV and Carlos Ercoli DVM.

In this category, support to scientific development, Vetanco is the first vet laboratory to receive this award.

During the ceremony were present Mr.  Daniel Capitanich, vice governor of Chaco Province; the Major of Chaco City,; Dr Marcelo Miguez, Dean of Veterinay Science College of the University of Buenos Aires and authorities and organizers of the Congress.
