Vetanco is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Maritza Tamayo, a prestigious and renowned professional in the poultry industry throughout the Americas. Dr. Tamayo will reside in Queretaro, headquarters of Vetanco Mexico and will report to Ing. Horacio Mancini (Corporate Commercial Director) and Dr. Sherry Layton (Director of Biotechnology).
Dr. Tamayo received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and her post-graduate degree in Poultry Sciences from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. In addition, she is a Diplomat for the American College of Avian Pathologist and a member of the American Association of Avian Pathologists.
Until recently, Dr. Tamayo worked for Zoetis as the Poultry Technical Services Manager for Canada and Latin America.
