DRUGS AND FORMULA

Albendazole 500 mg and Praziquantel 50 mg.

DOSAGE

• Toxocara canis, T. cati, Toxascaris leonina, Ancylostoma caninum, and Strongyloides spp.: One tablet per 10 kg. b.w. Repeat the dose after 18 days.
• Trichuris vulpis: One tablet per 10 kg b.w./day for 5 consecutive days. Repeat after 30 and 60 days.
• Dipylidium caninum, Echinococcus granulosus, and Taenia sp.: One tablet per 10 kg b.w. in a single dose.
• Giardia spp.: one tablet per 20 kg b.w. Every 12 hours, for 3 days.
