Ending an outstanding year, this week again Vetanco was awarded with the ExportAR 2010 prize.
In a ceremony held at the Palacio San Martín, location of the Foreign Affairs´ Ministry, Minister Hector Timermangave us the distinction that awards us for the overseas market’s consolidation carried out.
With this event, Vetanco closes a remarkable week in the institutional sphere. One that started with the invitation of the Vice Minister of Economy Dr Roberto Feletti to his office to be informed about which tools we consider his office can improve to help us potentiate the performance of a company invited and selected for the export growth, the investments in biotechnology and qualified manpower employment.
Vetanco is an international laboratory with head office in Argentina that since 1987 develops, manufactures and distributes innovative products for animal health and production. In more than 40 countries Vetanco supplies products internationally proven, controlled and reliable for the enhancement of agrifood safety and productivity.
The continous growth in our export has been outstanding both in invoicing as well as in added value and diversification. Being Latin America with Brazil at the forehead, the locomotive that tracks forward the rest of the markets it’s also steady the expansion that we achieved both in number of countries as in variety of exported products. Our brands are already in Indonesia , Chile, Perú, Slovenia, Egypt, Republica Dominicana, Russia, Zambia and 35 other destinies.
This is all result of a job started 20 years ago when in a scenario that only stimulated to imports unrestrictedly ,Vetanco decided to assume the mission to be the international referent in the supply of technologic additives for every animal protein intensive production. Was in that precise context that were recruited and configured the groups of experts that had to develop the scientific registration files of products that today successfully pass trough officer’s analysis of the most demanding countries.
That’s why today with our 220 employees we are the leading company in Argentina in products and solutions for egg and meat intensive production, as well as we are international referents in everything related with additives and ingredients for compound feed assigned to the production of the animal protein that the demanding consumer looks for at the supermarket shelf.

Because today our quality isn’t just evaluated by our own control lab, the Ministry and our worldwide distributors, but also by that demanding consumer that when in Paris, Bangkok, Amman, Caracas or Mendoza add to his trolley some chicken nugget, sausages, or salmon demands it proceeds from one of the top prestigious agrifood company in the world.
