Vetanco and Dr Bata present BV Science

Vetanco S.A., an international laboratory with a strong commercial presence in the Americas, along with Dr. Bata Co., a European research and development laboratory, announce the merger of their research, marketing and technical assistance departments to create BV Science, a new business division focusing on innovative product development.

Responding to global consumer demands that food consumption is free of antibiotics, hormones and other chemicals, BV Science was established with the objective of improving both productivity and profitability for primary meat producers, ultimately resulting in an increased supply of better quality food while maintaining improved cost-benefit ratios and conforming to the welfare initiatives of the growing world population.

For the past 10 years, Dr. Bata and Vetanco’s scientific research departments have been consolidating their resources while working together to develop innovative tools sharing the same principle:  Safe Products for Safe Food.

By working together, Vetanco and Dr. Bata have been able to extend their research, as well as, their international commercial and technical assistance capacities.  Through economies of scale:  product registrations world-wide have increased exponentially, validation and performance testing has been expanded to more institutions in more countries continuously, the time realized for a new product to enter the marked has decreased greatly, and commercial- production has yielded higher volumes with enhanced quality

“Dr. Bata’s products are the best complement to our own existing current product lines; as well as, our upcoming developments:  BiotechVacand Bioinnovo.  Additionally, our organizations share comparable structure and size making this integration more feasible.  Both companies include shareholders working in the day-to-day operations on projects for long-term growth”, said Jorge Winokur, President of Vetanco.

Presently, the BV Science product line consists of Dr. Bata’s product line and the Vcare product line (Detoxaplus – Dysantic – Herbanoplex -Gamaxine – Di Heptarine S – MOS Uniwall 25) as well as additional innovative products that will soon be commercially available.

Both Vetanco and Dr. Bata have registered and commercialized the BV Science line in their regions:  the distribution for the Americas is through Vetanco and for the rest of the world through Dr. Bata.

The official launch of BV Science will be held at the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) that will take place: between January 26-28, 2016 at the World Congress Center in Atlanta (Georgia), United States. Together Vetanco’s and Dr. Bata’s teams will present BV Science at stand 404, located in Hall A of convention center.

To consolidate this announcement, BV Science is also presented at EuroTier, Hannover, Germany, from 15 to 18 November 2016.
