Through technical lectures given by its representatives, Vetanco will participate in 2022 PSA Latin American Scientific Conference.
The Latin American Scientific Conference – “2022 PSA Latin American Scientific Conference”, organized by the Poultry Science Association, will take place from October 4 to 6. It will be held at the Bourbon Cataratas do Iguaçu Thermas Eco Resort, located in the Iguazú Falls, Paraná, Brazil.
In this context, on Tuesday, October 4, at 3:30 p.m. -Brazil time- Tiago Urbano, Technical Commercial Director of Vetanco Brazil (State University of Sao Paulo, Brazil), will be in charge of welcoming and introducing the Panel: “Total approach to Salmonella control: Perspectives and opportunities”.
Likewise, on that same day, at 3:45 pm, Sherry Layton, Ph.D. Scientific Director of Vetanco and BV Science (University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR, USA), will give a lecture titled “The Importance of synergistic solutions for Salmonella control in the poultry chain”.
This Symposium will not only focus on the frequency of Salmonella, but also on how new technologies can be used to control prevalence and manage critical contamination control points in poultry production. On the other hand, the aim is to introduce different perspectives on how secondary agents are equally involved in increasing the incidence of Salmonella contamination throughout the production chain: from the field to the slaughterhouse.
