Gastritis, reflux esophagitis, ulcers caused by stress and steroid and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, duodenitis, post-surgical trauma, patients at risk of ulceration (prolonged therapy with corticosteroids or NSAIDs), gastrinomas and mastocytomas, and in old animals.
